H M Steel & Industry limited equipped capacity of producing 1,200 MT of steel products every day with a dedicated 2,000 skilled workforce. From March 2021, the combined steel production capacity of H M steel & Industry limited and Golden Ispat Limited is 600000 MT per annum.
HM steel undertook the project on 25 acres of land to expand their MS bar & billets manufacturing business following the success of their first unit set up at Kumira in the port city Chattogram. The company is also got a structure mill and produces angles, channels, square bars, and flat bars.
The company whose businesses include ship breaking, cement, auto bricks, oxygen, real estate, liquefied petroleum gas, textiles, jute, and import and distribution involved in the steel manufacturing business since 1984.
The company established its first steel plant Golden ironworks limited in 1984 and later another plant Golden steel alloy works limited in 1987. Both are semi-automatic mills that are producing m s bar for the last 36 years.
Later, the company established Golden Ispat Limited in 2017 at Kumira, Chattogram which is a fully automatic steel plant with state of art manufacturing process with the brand name Golden Ispat.
Golden Ispat has a capacity of manufacturing 800 metric tons of MS bar & billets on daily basis. The company established a good market share in the steel market by supplying premium quality products to the consumers and maintaining commitments to ensure product quality.
The company is supplying its products to mega projects in Bangladesh as well as supplying products to various government organizations.
